I came home for lunch a couple of weeks ago and realized that my necklace, attached a Christmas gift for me are no longer on the bathroom sink where I left it the night before. I always kept my jewelry in one place, so I knew something wasn't right.

I after searching desperately for a long time without luck, I realized that there are more than a few other pieces of jewellery missing. Panic really set in, once I realized that on my back door lock has been tampered with. I was horrified at the idea that someone was at my house this morning. I called the local police, who arrived on the scene and made a presentation. Unfortunately I do not feel safer, then I have been before they came. They explained, there have been several break-ins and home invasions in our community over the past few months. It appears that they are not leads or evidence pointing them towards the perpetrators.

After many sleepless nights worrying these people or a person could come back to my house again, I decided that the time has come to take my safety and security in my hands. I talked with many of my neighbors and friends about what happened and find more than a few of them recently had installed a hidden camera in their own private homes.

I spent a lot of time studying security camera and alarm systems, I even had a reputation of alarm companies to go out and give me a quote of what it might cost me to monitor my home. Unfortunately, it was larger than the outside of my budget. I was feeling pretty beat and options when a friend sent me a link to a website where she recently got a new hidden cameras to its front and rear doors.

It doesn't take very long for me to find exactly what I wanted for my own home. I bought 4 channel Wired USB DVR System. It was simple to install and connect to my home computer. I mounted on the front door, the other pointed out the back door, one in common space of my house, and I even put in my bedroom. I also bought a hidden vanity mirror for my bathroom!

Fortunately, I had no more break-ins since then recent, but I sleep so much better now, I know what I'm doing what I can to protect yourself and your home.
